New Beers: Original Pilsner and Hazy IPA

Two new beers graced the taps of Highlander TapHouse this week! A classic and a new IPA.

The Original Pilsner

This beer is modeled after the mainstay of our original beer in 1910. Its a German style Pilsner, crisp, clean, finishes slightly dry, with a subtle German hop character in the background. It's pale gold in color and capped with a thick, dense collar of foam. With the first sip, spicy hop flavors come to the forefront. As the hop begins to fade, the wonderfully soft imported pilsner malt is revealed. 5.6% ABV/ 30 IBUs

Strange Haze IPA

The Strange Haze IPA is now on tap. We added late additions of Mosaic and Zythos hops showcasing the pineapple, tropical fruit and citrus hop character. The body is light, bitterness is low, but the hop flavor and aroma is prominent. And oh yeah, it's hazy! ABV 7.4 IBUs 45.
